Let’s be real. If you don't like rom-coms, that's because you haven't found your right one. After years of watching rom-coms, and especially Christmas rom-coms, I can safely say that I am qualified to fairly rank the Top 10 Christmas-themed movies to watch by yourself or with loved ones.

Here's a list of the best Christmas romantic comedies that will show you love, joy, and the holiday spirit.

10. Four Christmases: This film is about a couple that doesn’t believe in marriage. After a failed attempt to not spend Christmas with their families, they discover things about each other that makes them question their relationship, leading to a heart warming realization.

9. Meet Me Next Christmas: It’s controversial (since it’s new) to put this on the list, but to me this movie was heartwarming. Two people eventually fall in love after trying to find the other person's potential partner. After a while they start to realize that fate brought them together, realizing that they were meant to be all along.

8. The Holiday: This film involves two women swapping houses to escape from their relationship problems. While away they discover new potential love. This movie is about finding love in unexpected places, it's the right place at the right time.

7. The Princess Switch: This story is about a baker having a long lost twin. While switching lives, they discover unexpected love with unexpected people. This movie has a mix of royalty, quirkiness, and fate – not only making it an enjoyable watch but a joyous time.

6. Something from Tiffany’s : This film is about an accidental jewelry exchange leading to 2 people who are right for each other to cross unexpected paths. This chain of events led to a wrong gift exchange to ultimately go right. This is a feel-good story filled with romance, humor and the magic of fate.

5. Serendipity: This movie is not fully a christmas movie, but it does have that magical Christmas element in it. This rom-com captures the magic of Christmas fate that brings two people back together – revealing a powerful message about love, fate, and serendipity.

4. Love Hard: This film is about a girl that talks to a guy on a dating app, eventually finding out that the guy isn't who he says he is. It captures the funny essence of bad luck on dating, but eventually realizing that the person you are meant to be with was there all along.

3. Love Actually: This film has many interconnected stories. Despite the ups and downs in your typical relationship, this movie highlights human nature, good and bad. This movie is heartfelt, humorous, and even sad, it shows us that love is all around.

2. Holidate: Another girl with bad luck with dating ultimately gave up after her boyfriend broke up with her. She wanted to find something not serious, but suddenly a man came into her life only as a “holidate.” Same concept of having the one you are supposed to be with right in front of you all along.

1. While You Were Sleeping: When i say this movie is heartwarming, this movie is HEARTWARMING. It’s about a woman helping this guy in a coma. Do I need to explain more? With love based on lies the truth always comes out. Whether you work it out or throw it away, it's still love, (quote from the movie).

Whether you're in the mood for fairy tale magic or royal romance, these rom-coms have the laughter, joy, love, and festive feeling to get you in the holiday spirit. All these movies have one thing in common, despite their different encounters or plots: they give you excitement, entertainment, and capture the joy of the holiday. Now grab your favorite snack, a partner, and create some memories.
